------------------------------------------------- Answers to Questions ---------------------------------------------------
What type of hardware
is recommended?
A PC with a processor speed of 1 GHZ or higher, 512MB
of RAM and Windows XP or Windows 2000 as your operating system. You will
want at least 5GB of free space on your hard drive to store the photos and
shows you will produce. In addition, if you want to create DVD’s,
you will need a DVD burner – we like the Plextor brand. They work
well and cost from $150-$250. What
is the difference between DVD+ and DVD-?
Like VCR tapes that had both Beta and VHS formats,
DVD’s also come in two formats called DVD+ and DVD-. This difference
only matters when you are writing to a DVD – virtually all players
will read either format. Pay attention to which format your DVD uses when
it writes and make sure the DVD’s you purchase support that format.
How do I create a DVD version
of TimelessTributes™?
Please review our online DVD Publishing documentation.
It will take you through the steps of creating a DVD version of your show.
How do I create DVD labels?
You can use any DVD labeling software to create
your label. We provide labeling templates of each background that can
be used by most software. Use these if you want your label to match the
background you used in you TimelessTributes™ video. Please beware
that labeling DVD’s can cause problems if the label isn’t
properly adhered and balanced. DVD players spin these discs at extremely
high speeds and the label can create an imbalance, making the disc unreadable.
We are negotiating bulk pricing for pre-printed DVD’s. Email us
at support@timeless-tributes.com
if you are interested in purchasing them.
